SE Storeroom

SE Storeroom is a system focused on warehouse, stock and inventory management. It provides the users power to monitor the entire history of warehouse, its entries and exits, as well as alerts, designed to automate the control process to precisely meet maintenance and production demand making the right parts available at the right location, when necessary. Managing inventory is an important part of maintaining any facility. The SE Storeroom tracks materials for maintenance and manufacturing product, keeps control of items in stock, indicating when stock falls below user-defined reorder points, creates purchase requisitions and orders to restock lacking items and records of the received items.

Overview

SE Storeroom enables customers to avoid carrying unneeded inventory or experiencing downtime because of an inadequate one. Tools that monitors and controls inventory levels, automates purchasing and inventory management are included to optimize the availability of items for upcoming work tasks and to reduce excess inventory balances and related carrying costs.

The SE Storeroom module is used to manage spare parts from the inventory. The business goal is to find a balance of inventory stock, allowing maintenance and manufacturing work to be performed with minimum delays, in case materials are unavailable, but without keeping unnecessary or rarely used item in stock.

This component helps to improve teamwork through a powerful mechanism called “Team Workflow” that controls imminent items, automatically notifying those responsible via e-mail when the stock level at the warehouses is low or reaches a safety margin.

Through a single central database that stores all information, SE Supply effectively automates warehouse management. Thus, the entire daily work routine completed by the team is recorded and monitored.
